Desde ese entonces, se acondicionó en el Centro de Espiritualidad del mismo Santuario, el albergue que las acogió y cobijó durante dos largos años.
Fueron meses donde la esperanza, perseverancia, paciencia afloraron día a día, y sobre todo reafirmamos la admiración y orgullo de ver cómo las niñas y adolescentes a nuestro cargo se iban adaptando y apoyando en ese nuevo y provisorio escenario, deseando prontamente volver a su hogar llamado Residencia Amor Paz y Alegría.
Luego de contar con la autorización del Servicio Nacional de Menores y las certificaciones de la Superintendencia de Seguridad de Electricidad y Combustible, que indican el cumplimiento de la normativa y que nuestra Residencia nuevamente cuenta con todas las medidas de habitabilidad segura, es que el pasado 29 de marzo abrimos las puertas para que las niñas y adolescentes ingresen a su hogar y juntos volver a llenarlo de vida, alegría, armonía y actividades que favorecen su desarrollo integral.
Y es que, como hemos señalado en otras oportunidades, soñamos y trabajamos por una infancia alegre, soñamos y trabajamos por una infancia equitativa y protegida, y soñamos y trabajamos arduamente durante estos dos años para que llegase el momento de volver a entregar un espacio seguro, acogedor y familiar a aquellas niñas y adolescentes que deben separarse de sus familias hasta que puedan asegurarles su cuidado y protección.
Es por ello que mientras están bajo nuestro cuidado, además de asegurar y cubrir sus necesidades, trabajamos para transmitirles y fortalecer valores y conocimientos que favorezcan su formación integral y el acceso a oportunidades no solo durante su permanencia en la Residencia, sino también cuando continúen su vida fuera de ella.
Por lo que la ética, la consecuencia, la amabilidad en el trato, la contención, la compañía, la educación, el compromiso y la responsabilidad son nuestro pilar, pues procuramos que nuestro espacio residencial, por muy transitorio que sea en la vida de una niña o adolescentes, ayude a mejorar su calidad de vida y cobre real sentido la medida de protección que ordenó su ingreso.
